DirectPC

DirecPc was the first original satellite Internet service provided by Hughes products. These days there are no new direcPc you can buy but you can have an old one and can be activated. Basically direcPC was a high speed Internet but in one way that is only for downloading, to upload customer required to have dial up account. These are now replaced by direcway two-way systems.

DiercDuo

DirecDuo is an advancement of direcPc in a sense that it provides fast satellite Internet one-way access along with DirecTV programming.

Direcway 2-Way Systems

To overcome the problem of having separate dial up account for uploads Hughes came up with direcway 2-way systems. Direcway works for both uploads and downloads with a very high speed. In direcway you can have direcway 1-way systems that works like old direcPc systems.

Spaceway

It is the future of satellite Internet service providing two exceptional features.

• No need to connect to the central hub or transmission service, customer can directly communicate via satellite.
• Bandwidth on demand that is customer can pay for only the bandwidth it requires like higher bandwidth for vides and lower for audios.

Direcway Pros &Cons

Everything has some benefits, has some drawbacks in it. Similarly direcway has some positives as well as some negatives in it.

Pros of DirecWay

Whether its dish network or its DirecTV, it provides you with a very high speed inter net access. The minimum download seed is 400K/sec and in its peak hours more than 1M/sec Which is 4 times faster than normal dial up 56K connection. Similarly in Direcway two-way systems upload is 128K twice than normal dial up connection.

Cons of DirecWay

The main problem with direcway is its cost, which I twice than normal high-speed cable net or DSL provide. Bad weather also cause interference and to resolve the problem larger dishes are used.

Conclusion

On the whole Direcway is the only solution for those who cannot have access of Internet through other high-speed Internet services like cable net or DSL living in rural areas and for those also who want exceptionally high speed Internet access.
