What is TeraTelly?

Teratelly is application software runs on specific hardware providing all the multimedia applications along with Personal Video Recording feature. Teratelly is an interactive TV service providing 1.2 Tera bytes of storage so that you can watch and record your live TV with pause & play back feasibility.

TerraTelly User Interface

You can interact with TeraTelly’s feature either directly or by remote control. On screen interface shows you the features like PVR, VDO/DVD Library, Music/CD Library, Photo Library, EPG, Telly Portal and Networking.

TerraTelly Features

• Personal Video Reorder (PVR): teratelly can serves as complete PVR or DVR. By just one magic touch of your finger you can record and watch live TV with pause & playback functionalities. You ca also schedule recording according to Telly’s Electronic Program Guide. EPG keeps you inform about the next 14-day programming so that you can search your favorite show, movie, sport or what ever you like and schedule recording accordingly. You can even enhance search by keywords like movie star name, sport event and can tell the machine to always record the movie staring tom cruise or sport event in England. Moreover within EPG each family member can define his or her own channel list, so no need to go through whole the guide every time.
• VDO/DVD Library: this feature enables you to create a complete movie database. You can manage and categorize your DVDs and other Videos, watch DVD and save it for later times. Also it displays the DVD cover with all the information like stars, crew and cast and supports AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 and DIVX formats. Providing you with DVD /RW facility, you can burn on DVDs.
   
• Music Library: like VDO library you can have a music library to manage your music. You can create favorite play lists and more importantly burn them on CDs. while you can select your own bit rates via LAME MP3 encoder.
• Photo Library: this feature allows you to create your photo album provided with the facility for writing on photos. You can associate some information with photos like photographer, date taken, special occasion or whatever you like.
• Telly Portal: the feature allows you to surf the web by using built-in fire-fox web browser. Also provides you about local theatre and movie timings, user’s guide and system information.
• Networking: teratelly can be networked with itself or with other PCs so that all the libraries can be shared.

Setting Up TeraTelly

The teratelly software runs on LINUX operating system installed on 1GHz (or more) microprocessor, 1GB DRAM system memory, 1.2 Tera Bytes of storage, video card and supported TV tuner cards. Just manage the system as described, make interface B/W processor and your TV through TV tuner card, install TeraTelly software and enjoy its features.
