What is Meedio TV?

Meedio TV is software that allows your PC to interact with your analogue or digital TV. Meedio TV provides the service as a PVR that is play, pause and record live TV show and is a part of Meedio Pro Bundle but can be used alone.

Meedio TV Features

• With Meedio TV you can record either manually or automatically your live TV shows. An option “Season Ticket” allows you to select episodes to be recorded and setting priority.
• Meedio TV’s free electronic program guide with no monthly service fee keeps its user up to date for future programs so that he/she can browse and schedule recording accordingly.
• The user can search through the EPG by name, title, keyword, cast, character, time and can schedule recording with respect to these fields.
• Meedio TV can also work with multiple TV tuner cards in the same Pc without additional subscribing cost allowing you to record and watch more than one shows simultaneously. Also it supports external tuner cards and set-top boxes (STB) through its varieties of interfaces.

Setting Up Meedio TV

Software requirements.

• Microsoft windows XP service pack 1 including MCE (media center edition) or Microsoft windows XP service pack 2 including MCE (media center edition) for DTV or HDTV.
• DrectX 9.0 or above
• Mpeg-2 Decoder.

Hardware requirements.

• Meedio TV runs on 1 GHz or more microprocessor.
• 256 MB RAM or more
• At least 20 GB hard disk to record 2GB / Hour (more as much as suit you)
• A TV tuner card according to the services available in your area.

Establishing connection.

Now as you have both hardware and software ready just install windows XP with SP1 or SP2 according to your television service. The TV tuner card can either be installed inside the PC or connected to USB port with USB Supported Cards. Now simply plug video feed from your cable or antenna into the input of TV tuner device. In case of satellite or Set-Top Box feed the output of STB into the input of TV tuner device. Meedio can interact STB and access all the available channels. Now launch Meedio TV and enjoy the services mentioned above.
