Digital Reception

The LG direct tv hd receiver contains an ATSC Tuner that uses the 4th generation VSB technology by LG for digital satellite programming reception. Supports the digital TV standards.

• 480p for ED
• 480i for SD

Analogue Reception

The direct tv hd receiver also has a built in NTSC Tuner that makes the reception of analogue signals possible from cable or terrestrial network.

Macrovision

Follows the restrictions by macrovision and is a product according to the FCC rule 15 and 68.

Direct TV HD Receiver Features

• Direct TV advanced programming guide is available and shows the list of 7 days advanced programs. Also provide the feasibility of jumping a day or 6 ours simultaneously.
• Smooth tuning between the channels.
• The RF remote control provides you the access of your Direct TV system from anywhere in your home.
• The “EZ help” feature allows you to get all the information about any on-screen feature.
• Supports all the display formats based on 1080p, 720p, 480p and 480i. The “EZ-DVI” mode works only with the DVI-HDTV compatible monitor. EZ-DVI automatically selects the suitable resolution according to the HDTV.

Receiver Package

• The receiver package includes receiver, audio & video jacks to get audio & video from number of devices, DVI-HDTV cable & port for DVI-HDTV, HD-standard monitors, S-Video cable and jack that support only the video and works with audio cables.
• DirecTV’s access card by which the DirecTV controls its services and features.
• RF antenna to use remote control, RF jacks along with coaxial cables for broadcast reception (DirecTV, Cable or Over-the-air).
• Telephone jack and chord for the subscription with DirecTV’s programming.
• And VCR controller.
